The Sun Never Sets on Isla Vista
(At least Not When They're Sober)
The classes are over
The studying is done
They put down their books
To have some fun.
They call their friends --
Knock on their door,
"Let's have a beer,
And then one more."
Go get a keg,
Break out the cups,
They start to get drunk
And the sun is still up.
As the sun kisses the sea
And starts to drown,
Everyone's toking up
And chugging the beer down.
Down goes the sun
And up comes the moon,
Not a single sober soul
Is left in the room.
And then they pass out
Or go to bed
With horrible hangovers
Splitting their head.
They get up in the morning
And let out a sigh,
For the sun is here to greet them
Already in the sky.
